Thornton woman wins bonus 649 draw

A vacation is in the offing for Thornton resident Linda Fox, who last week collected her $500,000 lottery win in the Sept. 26 Lotto 6/49 Bonus Draw.

Ms. Fox, 63, has been playing the lottery for the past 20 years, using a combination of family birthdays as her picks.

She purchased the winning ticket at Sobeys on Maple View drive in Barrie.
